34 week check up!

I maybe would have felt a little bad by not posting in so long.. but then I remembered that hardly anyone reads this! So I don't feel that bad after all. ;)

Today is a good day because:

My good friend Mandy was able to take me to the doctor! FINALLY I was able to see a doctor! I'm 34 weeks right now. Last time I was seen was back in Rexburg at 27 weeks. We moved about a week and a half later and then it has taken me almost 5 weeks to get on health insurance here and make an appointment and all that. Luckily, Lydia is already an angel and I've had no problems this whole time, even though it was pretty stressful not having a doctor out here. Thankfully things are taken care of.

~ Shout out to Mandy! You're amazing! Thank you for always driving us places and taking me to the doctor when Jonathan couldn't! ~

 I feel sooo relieved. AND my ob/gyn and the nurse practitioner who was filling in while my doc was delivering elsewhere, were pretty pleased with how well I've been doing, and how healthy Lydia is. So I'm pretty happy. Her measurements are good, about a week behind my supposed due date. Which is opposite from the first measurements we took at 20 weeks when the doc said she'd be about a week early. So who knows! lol Her heart is good, pumping at a regular rate. And she's facing down and back still, like a good baby who's ready to come out should! Phewph! I've always been afraid that she'd be in breech position and I'd have to do a C-section...cause I really don't wanna! Haha

Anyways, I'm to return in on the 6th, and then my return appointments after that are once a week til she is born. SOO crazy!!! I have about a month and a week or so left. Man oh man. Time's flying fast. I almost don't feel ready. Well, I'm ready to have her.. I just need to get more things for her. I suppose once we get out of this hotel (which is for sure next Friday!.......hopefully!) we can start arranging a place for her and pull out her clothes and stuff and get all prepared. I'm so excited!! The time is finally coming! :D

Little baby fooooootsies!
Her head facing up, you can kinda see the eye :)

Well, I'm rambling hardcore right now. So I should probably stop. And go take a nap. And prepare for my primary lesson. And write my talk. Lovely!

What are your plans for Memorial Day?

Te Amo, Jonathan Hernandez

also known as "the Delicut" or "love dove" but most importantly, the love of my life!
{you can ask me where he got delicut from...if you really want to know}

I realize I never say much about him, even though I appreciate everything he does for us! Sooo here's a little blurp about the man of my dreams.

He grew up outside of Houston in a little town called League City, Texas.

 He has an awesome mother and father, two brothers and one sister. His oldest brother served a mission in Guatemala and his younger brother is currently serving in California. His sister is married and has one little girl.. (who also happens to share the same awesome name as moi!)
You can say proud parents!

{it's okay, I stole them from facebook, you can go ahead and laugh!}

His family was baptized into the Church when he was young and after many years of inactivity they finally started going back. He soon graduated from high school and knew he had to make some decisions. He prayed to God to know whether he should join the marines or go on a mission, and receiving an answer to his prayer, he was lucky to grow strong in the gospel while spreading the truth as a missionary. Because of that he feels others should have the same opportunity to hear the word of God.

He got to serve a mission in Alaska for 2 years. And loved it! (disclaimer: That is not where we met! We met through facebook afterward when he went home and became good friends online first. We didn't even know each other on the mission)

He has a strong testimony in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and loves LOVES missionary work! He's always willing to help investigators out or help with whatever the missionaries ask. Seriously! (Our second Sunday in Omaha, we were already going to a lesson after church and last week we gave rides to 2 investigators!)

He has a very lovable personality; very goofy, and fun to be around, which is why I have the hardest time stealing him away from all his friends!!! ;)  True story!!

He can't wait to be a father of our little girl and gives my tummy kisses each day!

He works so hard every day trying to sell security systems (and lemme tell you, it is NOT easy!). Rain, or shine, humidity, thunder and lightning, he's still out there knockin' doors to try to provide for me and our little wiggle monster.

Sometimes I get frustrated at the things he does or doesn't do, but he is the type of person where you can't stay mad at long.
Which, I think is a good thing. :)

 {yes, those are our hands :P}

<3 I just want everyone to know how much I LOVE HIM!<3

Journal Entry Memory :)

You are only as happy as you are grateful, and until you fully realize the worth of your own soul and comprehend God's love for you, you will not know that the challenges given to you are for your own good.

Gonna have some strong fingers!

You want to know what's maybe worse than carpel tunnel???.......... crocheting all day and now having cramps in your fingers! woohoo! Least it was for a good cause. Because I made this.. :)

Pretty cute huh! It almost looks like it could pass as a scripture bag.......... but I tested it with my large quad and it didn't fit. Maybe with a mini. At first I was going to use it for a mini diaper bag.. but then I got to thinking that if I buy a big one then I will probably need everything I put it in there..and there'd be no need for a mini one! Soooooooo I'll just use it as a purse, wooooooooo. And now I'm not gonna touch yarn or needles for like.......... a day. Or the next time I get bored. Toodles!
